| BOLDON
3 - 3 NEW MARSKE Saturday 4, November 2006 |
Despite a Steven McPartland goal in the 34th minute, New Marske found
themselves trailing 2-1 at the break. The visitors fell 3-1 behind on
55 minutes, but Boldon's lead was reduced a minute later when Kirk Forsyth
scored to make it 3-2. Super sub Liam Cook then scored an equaliser
with little more than 20 minutes remaining, during which there were
no further goals. It was a great fight back for New Marske who in the
end, were unlucky not to win. |

MARSKE 1 - 2 WHITEHAVEN Saturday 11, November 2006 |
Unbeaten Whitehaven went ahead after only 8 minutes with a breakaway goal. New Marske drew level on 25 minutes when Trefor Williams scored with a superb over head kick, but another defensive mistake on 39 minutes saw Whitehaven score the winner. New Marske can consider themselves unlucky not to take any points from this one as Whitehaven were made to fight all the way to remain top of the table. |
| WOLVISTON
3 - 0 NEW MARSKE Saturday 18, November 2006 |
After a battling first half a very depleted New Marske eventually conceded in the 53rd minute to a great goal by Wayne Flanagan. New Marske with only 11 fit players and no subs were starting to tire on a very heavy pitch and, when Wolviston brought on 3 subs, the fresh legs made the difference. Two more well taken goals from Richard Walker made the final score 3-0 to the home side. At this level you need to have fresh legs to call on so this result was not a surprise even though the lads that played give 100% |
| TEESSIDE
ATHLETIC 3 - 1 NEW MARSKE Saturday 25, November 2006 |
It was too windy for a good game. New Marske went ahead after 35 minutes with a good finish from substitute Kirk Forsyth and held the lead at half time. Two goals in five minutes left us chasing for an equaliser but as usual they hit us on the break to run out 3-1 winners. The result was an improvement on our 1-10 defeat under our previous manager. |
| ANNFIELD
PLAIN 1 - 2 NEW MARSKE Saturday 2, December 2006 |
Annfield plain went ahead in the 35th minute to lead at half time. After the interval New Marske took control and in the 48th minute Adam Taylor scored to make it 1-1. The game was then settled with a good strike by Steven McPartland for a 2-1 win to New Marske. |
| NEW

In the second half the game continued as in the first but it was the home side who struck with Kirk Forsyth first hitting the equaliser and then putting them in front. Karl Fillingham then struck home his second of the game to equalise for the visitors before veteran midfielder Darren Mitchell hit home the winner for New Marske. |
