NEW MARSKE 2 - 1 WHINNEY BANKS (North Riding Junior Cup, Quarter Final)
Sunday 11, March 2007

The under 11's took on an unbeaten Whinney Banks in the quarter finals of the North Riding Cup. New Marske took to the game from the start and were unluck to go in 1-0 down at half time. After the team talk they stepped up a gear and early in the second half were rewarded by a Lewis Calvert goal into the bottom corner. With the game all square the battle continued until a long throw into the box fell to Sam Calvert who beat the keeper to the near post. An excellent team performance resulted in the 2-1 win with outstanding solo performances from Lewis Calvert and the keeper Robbie Donaldson. New Marske have now earned themselves a semi final place against Marton Hall Drive.

NEW MARSKE 0 - 0 LEVEN
Sunday 18, March 2007

The U11's took on Leven and battled against the wind in the first half which saw Sam Calvert through on goal five times only to be beaten by an inform keeper. The second half continued in the same manner with New Marske pushing everyone forward in search of that illusive goal but were unable to find the net resulting in a 0-0 draw.

MARTON HALL DRIVE 2 - 3 NEW MARSKE (North Riding Junior Cup, Semi Final)
Sunday 15, April 2007

With key players missing New Marske rallied to the cause with a superb team performance. They conceded a goal mid way through the first half but with heads still up continued to battle and were rewarded with a superbly taken equaliser from Robert Mackintosh to go in at half time at one all. They again conceded early in the second half but a perfect cross from Kieron - Laing Taylor was headed in by Jack Dowson to draw level. New Marske continued to apply the pressure and the winner came from Scott Matthewman. A solid defence kept Marton out and New Marske earned a well deserved place in the final.
